A Visit to New Orleans in Photos
Rather than writing about New Orleans, we thought we’d share some of our photos of our 2 day stay. It’s just a snapshot of this beautiful, historic city and there is much more to explore. But hopefully it will delight you enough that you will want to visit while you make your someday…today. Cheers!
Cheers to New Orleans At the roof top bar, ‘The Hot Tin’ , there is an old mail slot for guests that still has letters from ages past…super cool! The restaurant was designed by Mr. Eiffel himself as an homage to the famous tower. A panoramic view of downtown New Orleans

A street musician playing for the passers-by I loved the horse-mounted police. And the horses were SO well trained. They barely moved even with all the noise and craziness. Oysters are a must when in New Orleans, and Felix’s is one of the best.

Check out the intricate lattice work on the balconies A wine shop on the strip…I love the quote, “Eat, Pray, Rose” The famous Bourbon Street
BBQ Shrimp…a southern staple The best ice cream! The Creole Creamery In the Mardi Gras Museum
A visit to New Orleans without seeing Mardi Gras…or at least some of the parade pariphanilia, is like going to Paris and missing the Eiffel Tower. 🙂

Hope you enjoyed a visual overview of New Orleans. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful gem soon.
